He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman Cash Sr. and Ollie Mae Moore Cash; his son Mark C. Cash; and his siblings, Olema Henson, Mary Lou Ledford, Joe Cash, Coleen Pearson and Sherman "Buster" Cash Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Doris Louisa Toney Cash; his children, Terry Cash (Cathy), Chris Cash (Libby) and Nathan Cash; his grandchildren, Cierra Smith (Luke), Bryson Cash, Bryant Cash, Destinee Cash, Gaidge Cash, Landyn Cash, Aiden Cash, Amber Phifer (Matthew) and Tracy Shipman; his great grandchildren, Braxton Smith, Dayton Smith, Kayden Pendergrass, Karter Pendergrass, Kinzlei Phifer, Karma Phifer, Kamdyn Phifer, Kingzlyn Phifer, Kylo Phifer and Stacy Shipman; and his brother David Cash (Jean). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Flint Hill Baptist Church (2207 Flint Hill Church Rd, Shelby, NC 28152). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at the same location.
