It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles V. Bostic Sr. of Shelby, North Carolina, who passed away on January 29, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Mary L. Bostic; and his siblings, James Bostic, Norman Bostic, Albert P. Bostic, Paul Louis Bostic, J. W. Bostic, Mary McDowell, Shirley McGill and Geraldine Spikes.
He is survived by: his children, Shirley Bostic-Green (Anthony), Charles V. Bostic, Jr. and Devon Bostic; his grandchildren, Marquise Bostic, Malachi Christopher, Eric Wells III, Mehki Bostic, Ciara Bostic, Christopher Bostic, Aniyah Bostic, Zamorah Davis, Zhane Davis and Zakorya Brown; his great grandchildren, Ariyah Bostic and Malia Christopher; his siblings, Walter Bostic (Teresa), Bobby Bostic, Gladys Nelson, Betty Jean Nance and Lois Howell (Wayne); and his close friends, Rev. George Raines and Michael Freemon.
