He was predeceased by: his parents, Ola Mae Smith Nalley and Luther David Nalley. He is survived by: his wife Bobbie Lesley Nalley; his daughters, Angela Heath (Scott) of Shelby, NC and Andrea Wilcher (Rob) of Asheville, NC; his granddaughters, Hadley Heath Manning (Aaron) of Denver, CO, Amanda Lake Heath of Houston, TX and Verity Wilcher of Asheville, NC; and his great grandchildren, Madeline, Jack, Savannah and William Manning of Denver, CO. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
