With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Robert Conwell Sr. of Shelby, North Carolina, born in Laurens, South Carolina, who passed away on October 30, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Willis Conwell and Ethelene Craft Conwell; and his brother William E. Conwell. He is survived by: his wife Betty Swafford Conwell; his son Charles Robert Conwell, Jr. (Tammy); his stepchildren, Donna Southards and Barry Hughes (Julia); his sisters, Dorothy Spencer and Georgia Davis; his grandchildren, Savannah Conwell, Andy Southards (Casey), Tyler Hughes (Tosha) and Lexi Delozier (Rick); and his great grandchildren, Talon, Zeke and Juliette Delozier.
