He was predeceased by: his parents, John William Carrigan and Nadine Carrigan Hedgepath; and his sister Ritta Carrigan. He is survived by: his wife Betty Hanna Carrigan of Kings Mountain; his children, Sherry Rippy (Michael), Jimmy D. Faulkner Jr. (Lynn), Lisa Yarbro (Leslie) and Tonya Leatherman (Scott); his grandchildren, Joshua Hollifield (Brandi), Matthew Faulkner (Maria), Dustin Yarbro, Taylor Rippy, Carrigan Leatherman, Tucker Leatherman, Leslie Brooks (Teddy) and Amber McGill; and his great grandchildren, Levi Hollifield, Bryson Yarbro, Jaxson Faulkner, Avery Oliver, Jason Pegg, Makayla Brooks, TJ Brooks and Jaylan McGill.
