Carroll Blanton Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carroll Blanton of Shelby, North Carolina, who passed away on December 7, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Albert Blanton and Elizabeth Bryant Blanton; his son Mark Steven Blanton; and his siblings, Kenneth Blanton, Jim Blanton, Lavonda Powell and Faye Hager.

He is survived by: his wife Mildred McFarland Blanton; his granddaughter Lauren Brooks of Shelby, NC; his siblings, Bill Blanton of Shelby, NC and Gail Laney of Shelby, NC; his nieces and nephews, Taylor Canipe, Matthew Morehead and Joshua Morehead; and his friend Chery Truluck.
