He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl James Dockery, Sr. and Alma Dwin Dockery; and his son Carl James Dockery, III. He is survived by: his daughter Rosanna Alma Dockery Thompson (Allen); his brothers, Charles Dwin Dockery and Paul Edward Dockery (Gilda); his siblings-in-law, William "Bill" Norsworthy and Sybil Runderson; his grandchild Takeeley Keshun Dockery; and his great grandchildren, Miss Jada Carlise Lawrence and Miss Kyndall Alysia Lawrence. He is also survived by father and mother taught their children.
