We are sad to announce that on February 20, 2024, at the age of 96, Carl Bridges of Shelby, North Carolina, born in Cleveland, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carver Spurgeon Bridges and Jennie Dean Allen Bridges; his wife Annie Rae Bridges; his siblings, Lee Bridges, Lawrence Bridges, Spurgeon Bridges and Dorothy Bridges Hamrick Wilkerson; and his brother-in-law Rev. Charles Rabon.
He is survived by: his children, Annette Bridges Ledbetter (Lee), Samuel Richard Bridges (Beatrice Hayes Bridges) and Sarah Jane Bridges; his grandchildren, Jason Ledbetter, Dana Ledbetter, Victor Bridges (Jessica) and Joseph Carver Bridges (Beth); his great grandchildren, Logan Samuel Bridges, Chloe Anne Bridges, Esther-Mae Nicole Bridges and Kinsley Grace Marie Bridges; and his siblings, JoLena Bridges Rabon, Carver Don Bridges (Leila) and Allen Dean Bridges (Barbara).
