He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Clayton Callahan and Nancy McCurry Callahan; his wife Barbara Blackburn Callahan; his son Robert Callahan; his stepmother Ruth Justice Callahan; his daughter-in-law Trina Callahan; and his siblings, Charles Callahan and Maultie Ann Bridges.
He is survived by: his daughter Tonie Turner (Macky) of Shelby; and his siblings, Steve Callahan (Doris), Eddie Callahan (Angi) of Shelby and Carolyn Price (Walt) of Shelby. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
