She was predeceased by: her parents, Purvis Iredell Wesson and Mae Allen Wesson; and her brothers, Clyde Wesson and Joel Wesson. She is survived by: her husband Hal Max Gardner, Sr.; her stepchildren, Max Gardner, Jr. (Aimee) and Holly Gardner; her siblings, Purvis Wesson (Mary Jane) of Shelby, John Wesson (Doris) of Shelby, Dan Wesson (Antionne) of Shelby, Jessie Hedrick (Sonny) of Raleigh and Gailya Hamrick (John) of Shelby; and her aunt Mary Faye Bridges of Shelby.
