It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby Lane of Shelby, North Carolina, born in Cleveland, North Carolina, who passed away on August 22, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Lane and Carrie Hutchins Lane; his wife Barbara Graham Lane; his son Chip Lane; and his brothers, Paul, Tite, Jack "Cookie" and Jimmy Lane.
He is survived by: his sons, Larry Lane (Heather) of Shelby and Rocky Lane (Sheila) of Shelby; his grandsons, Rock Lane (Mandy), Patrick and Preston Lane; his great grandchild Gimma Lane; and his daughter-in-law Laurel Lane of Shelby.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Cleveland County or Eastside Baptist Church.
