He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Steven and Grace Ivester Neal; and his sister Sue Hancock. He is survived by: his wife Louise Harry Neal; his mother-in-law Katherine Harry of Shelby; his daughter Margot Alexander (David) of Shelby; his grandson Trevor Alexander; his sister Faye Wylie (John) of Blacksburg; and his pet Miley.
