He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Madeline Horn and Thurman Horn; his daughter Chris; his grandchildren, Clay (Lonna), Curt, Madeline (Ryan), Jack (Katie) and MacMillan; and his great grandchildren, George, Henry and Gisele. He was also cherished by his family, not just his immediate family.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home and Crematory (106 Cherryville Rd, Shelby, NC 28150-4208). A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Zion Baptist Church (525 W Zion Church Rd, Shelby, NC 28150).
