He is survived by: his children, Teresa J. Hester of Belmont, Billy E. (Cindy Hester, Jr.), Scotty L. Hester (Sonya York Mellone) and Joseph Mellone of Charlotte, NC; his grandchildren, Ben Lunsford, Jr., Katlyn Hester, Alexander Hester and Andrew White; and his great grandchild Benjamin K. Lunsford. He is also survived by his family and friends.
