Bill Mauney Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bill Mauney of Shelby, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 20, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Webb Mauney and Bessie Ann Cogdell Mauney; and his siblings, James Mauney, Vernie Mauney Wall, C. W. Mauney, Forrest Mauney, Norman Mauney, Rachel Ann Mauney, Betty Sue Mauney Nelson and William "Ralph" Mauney.
He is survived by: his nephew Michael Darrick Methvin. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Beaver Dam Baptist Church (123 Beaver Dam Church Rd, Shelby, NC 28152, USA). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Billy's memory to Beaver Dam Baptist Church.
