It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jean Morrison Trammel of Shelby, North Carolina, who passed away on October 12, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Morrison and Alpha Hamrick Morrison. She is survived by: her stepsons, David Trammel and Scotty Trammel; her husband W. C. Trammel; and her siblings, Eunice Parker, Mary Frances Holland, Sarah Lou Swink, Gladys McSwain, Ruby Weaver and Pete Morrison. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
