She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Webb and Bessie Ann Cogdell Mauney; her husband Irvin Nelson; her son Charles Ray Nelson; and her siblings, Jim Mauney, Forrest Mauney, Norman Mauney, Vernie Wall and Rachel Mauney.
She is survived by: her son Mark Nelson; her granddaughter Janet Nelson; and her brothers, Bill Mauney and Ralph Mauney (Debbie).
