We are sad to announce that on December 12, 2023, at the age of 92, Betty Lou Yelton of Shelby, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Columbus Melton and Cellie Sanders Melton. She is survived by: her son Allen Yelton-McVey (Doug) of Shelby, NC; her grandson Cooper Yelton-McVey; and her husband Wisker Yelton. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
