She was predeceased by: her parents, Asa Jay and Lucille Peters Dover; her husband William "Bill" Leigh; her daughter Susie Drewery; her son-in-law Tommy Drewery; and her sister-in-law Ramona Dover.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Rose (James Smith) of Kings Mountain and Danny Walker of Shelby; her brother Lanny Dover of Minnesota; her grandchildren, Shane Rose (Beth) of Florida and Vanessa Fuller of Lincolnton; her great grandchildren, Abigail, Evan, Anna, Chase and Ayden; and her nieces and nephews, Bob Dover, Marty and Shawn Lockridge.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Cleveland Funeral Services and Crematory (2518 W Dixon Blvd, Shelby, NC 28152). Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cleveland Funeral Services and Crematory (2518 W Dixon Blvd, Shelby, NC 28152).
