He was predeceased by: his parents, Adlai Elzey Elliott, Sr. and Lula Mae Gantt Elliott; his former wife Lois Farrow Elliott; and his siblings, Aldai Elliott, Jr., Robert Elliott, Frank Elliott and Elizabeth Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Hodge Elliott; his children, Brett Elliott (Vickie) of Fallston, Andy Elliott (Jennifer) of Spartanburg, SC, Chyrl Hood (Durayne) of Vale, Bruce Elliott (Kim) of Fallston and Tim Elliott (Pam) of Mooresboro; and his sister Mary Davis of Greer, SC. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
