Bea Stroupe Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bea Stroupe (Shelby, North Carolina), who passed away on May 19, 2024, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Odell and Evelyn Vasseur Odell; her former husband Robert Collins (Bob); her husband Ernest; her stepdaughter Brenda Smith; and her sister Evelyn Marie Reynolds.

She is survived by: her children, Paul Collins (Marcia) of Charlotte, Jim Collins of Newton, Peggy Collins of Boiling Springs, Joan Garrison (Craig) of Kings Mountain, Ed Collins (Sara) of Mooresville, Darby Fitzpatrick (Jim) of Front Royal, VA and Brian Collins (Angela) of Albemarle; and her sister-in-law Carol Collins Beuschel of Naples, FL. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren.
