He is survived by: his wife Anne Ide Crothers of Shelby; his children, Lane Crothers (Martha) of Normal, IL and Cynthia Dominick (Gregory); and his grandchildren, Shealy, Cecilia "Celia", Edith "Edie", Austin and Virginia "Gigi".
