With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alice Willis of Shelby, North Carolina, born in Cleveland, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 22, 2024 at the age of 73. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Ivey Whisnant and Veva C. Spangler Falls; her husband Steven Bell; and her siblings, Charles "Bud" Whisnant and Eddie Whisnant.
She is survived by: her son Scott Willis (Jill); her sister Libby Hughes; her grandchildren, Matthew and Katherine; and her pet Phoebe.
