With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alfred Richard of Shelby, North Carolina, born in Cleveland, North Carolina, who passed away on March 24, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob Franklin Richard and Ethel Roper Richard; his wife Elizabeth Jones Richard; and his brothers, Gene Richard, Don Richard and Kenneth Richard.
He is survived by: his children, Kavin Richard (Cathy) of Shelby, Eric Richard (Lynn) of Polkville and Amy Breen (Mark) of Lawndale; his brother JB Richard of Shelby; his grandchildren, Lindsay Mays, Casey Hamrick, Sarah Breen and Avery Breen; and his great grandchildren, Cora, Cole, Ava, Knox, Alydia and Carter.
