He is survived by: his mother Wanda Simmons Mills; his children, Alison Ross of Bostic and Ben Ross of Shelby; his close friend Jenny Buchanan of Shelby; his sister Regina Rhodes (Tommy) of Green Hill; his grandson Cooper Keck; his cousin Dee Searcy of Forest City; and his nephews, Lane and Aiden Rhodes.
