He is survived by: his children, Roy W. Harrison (Katherine) of Shawboro, Joy H. Banks (Richard) of Hertford and Wendy H. Davis (Louis) of Coinjock; his sister Marguerite H. Cartwright of Williamston; his grandchildren, Leaha H. Odom (Pete) of Currituck, Angela H. Banks of Hertford, Alex W. Harrison (Brittanie) of Aydlett, Samantha L. Banks of Hertford, Kinley R. Davis of Coinjock and Canyon R. Davis of Coinjock; and his great grandchildren, Merrill, Weston, Everett Odom of Currituck and Caden Harrison of Aydlett.
He was honored by the Shawboro Ruritans for his contributions to the community and game by having the Shawboro community field named in his honor.
