It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patrick Alyn Philp of Shawboro, North Carolina, who passed away on December 28, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Patrick Alyn farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Patrick Alyn is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Alyn Philp (Rebeca Roman Rogers) and Viviana Iribarren Philp; and his wife Viviana. He is survived by: his sons, Carlos Philp (Luz Marina) and Jaime Philp (Gina); his grandchild Sky Philp; his sister Rebeca Richmond; and his sister-in-law Linda Boldt (Lyle). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Twiford Funeral Homes (405 E Church St, Elizabeth City, NC 27907). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the same location.
