McGinty (Sharpsburg, North Carolina), born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 21, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Raymond McGinty and Antoinette McGinty of Sharpsburg; his wife Joan K. Carey of Mt. Lebanon; his sons, John F. McGinty Jr., James Michael McGinty (Mike), William Raymond McGinty (Bill) and Patrick Kevin McGinty; and his daughters-in-law, Karen, Joni, Dianne and Christina.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association in the name of John F. McGinty.
