He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Raymond McGinty and Antoinette McGinty of Sharpsburg; his wife Joan K. Carey of Mt. Lebanon; his sons, John F. McGinty Jr., James Michael McGinty (Mike), William Raymond McGinty (Bill) and Patrick Kevin McGinty; and his daughters-in-law, Karen, Joni, Dianne and Christina.
