Denton, Jr. (Laura) of Nashville; his siblings, Nick Denton (Faye) of Spring Hope and Peggy Denton Ricks of Rocky Mount; his grandchildren, Michelle Bridgers Holbrook (Andy) of Wilson, John W. "William" Denton, III (Meghan) of Sharpsburg, Jessica Lynn Denton of Momeyer, Ashley Denton Flye (Kenneth) of Nashville, Adam Marcus Denton (Katie) of Greenville, Kelly Elizabeth Denton of Momeyer and Rebekah Leigh Denton of Nashville; and his great grandchildren, Abigail "Abby", Alexis "Lexi" Holbrook, Jasey Rae Aycock, John W. "Liam" Denton, IV and Lillian "Lilly" Grace Denton.
