She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville G. Davis and Lessie D. Davis; and her siblings, James Willard Davis, Gordon Edwin Davis, Ambler "Pookie" Davis, Franklin Delano Davis, Gladys Davis Bryan, Louise Davis Fisher, Naomi "Pat" Davis Combs and Peggy Davis Newton.
She is survived by: her husband John C. Brinkley; her pet Kissey Mae; and her stepdaughter Janelle Brinkley of Rocky Mount.
