She was predeceased by: her son Ronald Hammonds; her parents, Lester Blanks and Zadie Blanks; her grandson Issac; and her siblings, Tammy Steed, Wanda Jane, Janice Blanks, Mabel Ester Mains, Leslie Blanks and Ray Steed.
She is survived by: her husband Wilbert Hammonds; her children, Allen Carter, Steven Carter, Donald Hammonds, Patrick Hammonds (Nasbaldo), Matthew Hammonds, Latoria Oxendine (Cliff) and Brandi Taylor (Jaden); her brothers, Ricky Blanks, Keith Blanks and Daniel Mains; her grandchildren, Lyndia, Laila, Nacoya, Jhauna Jamia, Malachi, Shalako, Jayami, Anisa, Jacoby, Isabella, Cadence, Dakota, Alejandra and Mackenzie; her great grandchildren, Janova, Jahana, Erica, Caden, Ronald Neil and Edward; her niece Amy Lynn; her mother-in-law Annie Hammonds; and her sister-in-law Lora Ann Locklear. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
