It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Kinwood Varnam (Shannon, North Carolina), born in Southport, North Carolina, who passed away on August 23, 2018, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Joyce Mae Long; and his brother Ricky Dale Varnam. He is survived by: his parent John Kinwood Varnam Jr.; his wife Shannon Varnam; his children, John Kinwood Varnam, IV of Bolivia, Tabitha Christine Varnam of Bolivia and Shaina Varnam Diaz (Greg); his siblings, Jacky Dixon, Brenda Alley and Rhonda Schaffer (Scott); and his grandchildren, Rebekah Lynn Bakan, Haylee Bakan, Isaiah Diaz, Kayden Cumbee, Jeremiah Diaz, Maya Vargas, Charlotte Vargas and Moriah Diaz.
