It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Locklear (Shannon, North Carolina), who passed away on March 22, 2020, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Reedy Locklear and Rebecca Locklear; and his sister Novella Worriax. He is survived by: his wife Twyler Locklear; his children, Aaphene Locklear Jacobs (Jeremy) of Raeford, Blanchie Locklear Johnson (Anthony) of Rowland and Bobby Ray Locklear (Pam) of Shannon; his siblings, Betty R. Oxendine of Shannon, Lady E. Cummings of Shannon, Wanda Smith of Shannon, Felton Locklear of Shannon, Billy Locklear of Shannon and Tony Locklear of Shannon; and his grandchildren, Eric, Corey, Amber, Stacy and Destiny. He is also survived by one great-grandchild as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
