We are sad to announce that on April 29, 2023, at the age of 70, Curlie Hunt Jr. of Shannon, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Curlie Hunt and Sarah Elizabeth Freeman Hunt; his siblings, Lilly Dial, Sarah Lois Jacobs, Louise Hunt, Barbara Hunt, Cathy Hunt, Carolene Hunt, Johnny Hunt and Levern Hunt; and his grandson JJ Hunt.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Hunt; his children, Danny Ray Hunt of Shannon, Johnny Hunt (Brandi) of Shannon, Carolene Hunt (Jeremiah) of Prospect, Katey Brewington (Michael) of Pembroke and Pauline Bell of Maxton; and his brothers, Kenny Hunt of Lumberton, Harold Hunt of Fairmont, Rev. Bobby Mitchell of Laurel Hill and Willie James Hunt of Fairmont. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
