He was predeceased by: his parents, Norton R. Kelly and Virginia English Kelly. He is survived by: his children, Michael A. Kelly (Barbara), Shannon B. Kelly and Andy Harrison (Beth); his grandchildren, Joshua Kelly, Mae Wallace Harrison and Murphy Harrison; and his sister Phyllis Kelly Jeter (David).
