She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph F. Boyd and Lula Mae Hardee; her former husband George A. Sloane Jr.; her husband Connor F. Cox of Guideway, NC; and her brothers, Paul Hardee and Gene Hardee.
She is survived by: her children, George A. Sloane III (Sharon), Debbie Sloane Smith and Pamela S. Yoho (Bobby); her stepchildren, Steve Cox (Bonnie) and Kerry Cox Craig (Johnny); her sister Sonya Hardee; her sons, Tim and Kevin; her brother Cary Hardee; her nephew Blake Campbell; and her grandchildren, Charles Fox, Whitney Sauls, Paige Sloane, Leah Peterson, Cortney Brazil, George Sloane, Eric Sloane, Chris Bryan, Amanda Knott, Lauren Carlson, Adrienne Fay, Sylvia Craig, Jay Craig, Steve Cox and Alexis Hayes. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
