Tommy Carl Austin Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tommy Carl Austin of Shallotte, North Carolina, who passed away on February 18, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Jefferson and Sylvia Hudgins Austin; and his siblings, Sheila Powell and Jerry Austin. He is survived by: his children, Vonda Austin Steelman (Jeff) of Thomasville, Mike Austin of Archdale and Matt Austin of San Antonio, TX; his grandchildren, Tyler Steelman, Hayden Steelman, Nick Austin, Ben Austin and Elijah Austin; his great grandchildren, Kylie Austin and Levi Austin; and the mothers of children, Tommie Ann Austin and Linda Austin Baker.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the SECU Lower Cape Fear Hospice in Bolivia.
