It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Spencer Stroud (Shallotte, North Carolina), born in Loris, South Carolina, who passed away on January 22, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Archie Tone and Estelle McKenzie Stroud; his wife Leila Stroud of Shallotte, NC; his children, Terry Stroud of Marion, SC, Carolyn Davis, Tammy Williamson of Mullins, SC and Karen Covington of High Point, NC; and his close friend Wayne Hillman of Shallotte, NC.. He was also cherished by fourteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
