We are sad to announce that on May 3, 2022, at the age of 87, Shirley Ball of Shallotte, North Carolina, born in High Point, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nellie Gleason Osborne Brown and Steve Daniel Brown; her husband Leonard Andrew Ball; and her brother Morris Hunter Brown. She is survived by: her children, Steve Ball (Glenda), Lynn Welborn (Darrell) and Mark Ball (Judy); her grandchildren, Rebecca Ball, Michael Ball and Andrew Welborn (Whitley Glosson); her brother Terry Neil Brown; her aunt Ronda Rogers; her sister-in-law Vernell Lanier; and her niece Vickie Davis. She is also survived by three step-grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.
