It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Varnam Boyd Sr. (Shallotte, North Carolina), who passed away on April 11, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughters, Mary Boyd and Kathy Tysinger. He is survived by: his children, Samuel "Sandy" Varnam Boyd, Jr. (Tina), Mark Boyd, Dawn Ellen Boyd Amundson (Jon) and Sonnie Boyd Long (Aaron); and his sister Christine Gorman. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren.
