He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Bridgers and Celica Mae Register Bridgers; and his wife Charlene Stanley Bridgers. He is survived by: his son Robert L. "Robbie" Bridgers; and his granddaughter Victoria Bridgers.
A graveside service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Jennies Branch Baptist Church Cemetery (5256 Beach Dr SW, Shallotte, NC 28470).
