He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Wortman and Marie Wortman; his wife Oaka; and his sister Jane Wortman Hill. He is survived by: his daughter Angela Wortman Berrier; his son-in-law Jeff Berrier; and his grandchildren, Taylor Berrier Franks (Joshua Franks), Zachariah James Berrier and Joshua Macadan Berrier (Mac).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church of Elon (1630 Westbrook Ave, Elon, NC 27244). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
