It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Peggy Mangum Owens of Shallotte, North Carolina, born in Wilson, North Carolina, who passed away on November 27, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Arthur Mangum (Doc) and Ruby Whitley Mangum; her husband Maynard Owens; her brothers, Johnny and Grant Mangum; her children, Glenn Owens (Sharon), Audrey Gore (Keith) and Kenneth Owens (Carrie); and her grandchildren, Jennifer Caison, Bryan Owens, Jason Gore and Ryan Gore.
Family will receive visitors at the home through Tuesday afternoon (Covid-19 precautions please).
