He was predeceased by: his parents, Archibald Dettman and Ellen Dettman; and his sister Kathryn. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Dettman; his stepchildren, Michelle Palmer, Jeff Palmer and Allyson Gangone (Dan); his granddaughters, Tatum, Ryan Palmer, Payton and Paige Gangone; his brother Arch; and his sister-in-law Elaine Dettman of Michigan.
