It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Kitchens (Shallotte, North Carolina), born in Ash, North Carolina, who passed away on September 10, 2018, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Kitch Kitchens; her sister Helen Inman; and her half-sister Nellie Rising. She is survived by: her parents, Annie Eliza and Thomas Barden King; her grandmother Lucy Simmons; her nieces and nephews, Martha Inman Lorch (Doug) of Santa Barbara, Tommy Inman (Bonnie) of Shallotte, Stephanie Batson (Cal) of Shallotte and LaGrant Evans (Marilyn) of Terawa Terrace; her great-nephews, Zachary Batson of Shallotte and Austin Evans of Terawa Terrace; and her great-niece Jessica Powell of Shallotte.
