She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Burns and Florence Rose Burns (LaMorte). She is survived by: her husband Ed of Southport, NC; her son Edmund Michael Bowers (Debbie); her grandsons, Michael and Eddy of Delaplane, VA; her daughters, Barbara Ann McMurray (Scott) of Myrtle Beach, SC and Catherine Mae Bowers of Oak Island, NC; and her sisters, Johanna Duggan of Brick, NJ, Angela Polhemus of Brick, NJ, Bishon Frise and Mandy.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to Lower Cape Fear Lifecare and Alzheimer's research organizations.
