It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marilyn Register Tripp of Shallotte, North Carolina, who passed away on December 8, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Waldo Register and Etta Sue Register Register; her husband Billy Tripp; her son Nicky Tripp; and her siblings, Violia "Vi" Woods, Dianne Jones, Malcolm "Mack" Register and James "Jimmy" Register.
She is survived by: her daughters, Michele Hobson (Don) and Kim Andrews (Gary); her siblings, Robert "Bo" Register, Jean Benton (Odell) and Jackie Beaulieu (Fred); her grandchildren, Amanda (Brad), Meredith (David), Ashley (Renee), Brittany Nicole, Huck (Leilani), Ashton and Rylan; her great grandchildren, Maddox, Justin (Madi), Tinsley, Paisley and Logan (Kane); and her great great grandchildren, Carter Beau and James Finn.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Calvary Baptist Church (623 Village Rd, Shallotte, NC 28470). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorials be made to Shriner's Children Hospital, 1 Children's Plaza, 2 W, Dayton, OH 45404 or at http://www.donate.lovetotherescue.org or to Calvary Baptist Church, 623 Village Road SW, Shallotte, NC 28470 in memory of Marilyn.
