It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Cristina Cortez of Shallotte, North Carolina, who passed away on September 19, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Saltacion Noberon and Eulogia Cortez Noberon; and her husband Jose Dominquez. She is survived by: her children, Felix Dominquez, Enrique Dominquez, Alfonso Dominquez, Emiliana Dominquez, Maria D. Dominquez, Gloria Dominquez and Alicia Dominquez. She is also survived by 31 grandchildren and 49 great-grandchildren.
