We are sad to announce that on June 29, 2020, at the age of 73, Linda J. Kittrell of Shallotte, North Carolina, born in Wise, Virginia passed away. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ulysses Hamilton and Edna Counts Hamilton; her husband Jarvis Kittrell; and her brothers, Bobby Hamilton and Jerry Hamilton.
She is survived by: her close friend David Lyles; her children, Michelle Johnson (Jeff) of Tennessee and Michael Kittrell of Michigan; her sisters, Peggy Austin of St. Paul, Sandra Puckett of Mineral and Patty Carpenter of Duke, Virginia; and her grandchildren, Vanessa, Andrea, Dennis, Scarlett and Samson. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Following the COVID-19 restrictions set forth by the Governor of Virginia on face-covering requirements and social distancing, a Graveside Service and Interment for Linda J. Kittrell will be conducted at 1:00 p. m., Friday, July 3, 2020, in Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood, Virginia with Rev. Doug Trent officiating.
