He is survived by: his parent Lillie Pearl Hewett Evans; his wife Lucy Grace Evans; his children, Larry Alan Evans (Annette) and Glenda Fay Upchurch of Shallotte, NC; and his brother Maurice Evans (Winkie) of Supply, NC.
